Why affordable education matters

Bluezone Institute (a division of Bluezone 3000 (Pty) Ltd, CIPC 2021/402899/07, Durban) takes the protection of your personal information seriously and processes it in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you enroll, we collect the details you provide: your name and surname, ID or passport number, phone number, email address, residential address, and the course you wish to study. We do not collect any of this without your consent.
Why we collect it
Your information is used only to register you as a student, to communicate with you about your studies and new courses, and to issue certificates. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
Lawful basis
We process your information on the basis of the consent you give when you enroll. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
How we keep it secure
Your details are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection and are stored in access-controlled systems available only to authorised Bluezone Institute staff. We do not store your personal details on your device or in the course app itself. We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. To exercise any of these rights, contact us on WhatsApp at +27 79 049 2409.
